Valerie Loureda, better known as Lola Vice to wrestling fans, is an American professional wrestler and mixed martial artist.
She is currently signed to WWE under the ring name Lola Vice, where she performs on the NXT brand.
As an MMA fighter, she competed in the women’s flyweight division of Bellator MMA.
Born in Miami, Florida, Lola is the first Cuban-American to have ever signed for WWE. What an achievement!
Valerie Loureda started off her journey by making her MMA debut in 2019, where she defeated Coby Fletcher by technical knockout at Bellator 216.
She then went on to fight another 4 times inside the octagon with a record of 4 wins & 1 loss. A good record for any fighter!
However in 2022, Valerie attended a three-day-long WWE try-out during WrestleMania 38 weekend. By August, she was signed by WWE and began to train at the WWE Performance Centre.
She made her NXT debut at a live event on November 12, A month later it was announced that her in ring NXT name would be Lola Vice.
Lola would then go on to make her TV debut on January 27th episode of NXT Level Up.
In 2023 she officially allied herself with Elektra Lopez, establishing herself as a heel, this really suited the Latina heat!
In September 2023 it was announced that Lola would take part in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, with her first match coming up against Dani Palmer.
She went on to beat Dani Palmer in the first round, before beating Karmen Petrovic in the semi finals. This landed her a match against Kelani Jordan in the final, Lola defeated Kelani to win the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament only 10 months after her TV debut.
Lola Vice brings so much energy and fight into the ring, using her MMA past against her opponents with quick fire punches and kicks.
At only 25 years of age, already accomplishing so much, The Latina Heat has a bright future ahead of her in NXT and I am sure the WWE main roster will come calling soon.
