WWE NXT standout Lola Vice has responded to the recent wave of talent releases with a heartfelt promise to her fellow developmental peers. Following the departures from the brand, including prominent names like Mustafa Ali, Dana Brooke, Quincy Elliott, Dabba-Kato, and Yulisa Leon, as well as several emerging talents such as Bryson Montana, Daniel McArthur, Kevin Ventura-Cortez, Brooklyn Barlow, and Alexis Gray, Lola Vice took to X to share her sentiments.
In her message, Vice conveyed her profound sadness over the releases and vowed to make her “class proud.” She joined WWE in June of the previous year, entering as one of 17 recruits in her class, which included Daniel McArthur, one of those released. Vice made her debut on “NXT” in January of this year and subsequently formed a tag team partnership with Elektra Lopez. Last week, she faced former “NXT” Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, though she suffered a loss after a bout lasting just over four minutes.
It’s important to note that the roster cuts resulting from the WWE and UFC merger extended beyond the “NXT” brand. Established stars like Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, and Elias were among the notable names released from the main roster. Furthermore, numerous WWE office employees faced abrupt departures from the company in recent weeks.
