Former WWE star Velveteen Dream, known for his memorable run in NXT, has kicked off 2024 with a public apology.
In 2020, he faced serious allegations. WWE reportedly investigated the incident but found no evidence of wrongdoing. Despite that, hashtags such as ‘Fire Velveteen Dream’ started emerging and trending whenever he appeared on NXT.
Sadly the storm of allegations resulted in his release from WWE in 2021. This concluded a chapter marked by negative headlines. Dream was released from his WWE contract after five months of inactivity.
Now, it seems Velveteen Dream, real name Patrick Clark Jr., is bidding to turn the page on his past and start a new chapter in his wrestling career and personal life.
The former WWE Superstar took to social media earlier today to share a video in which he extended a sincere apology for his actions and behavior over the past few years.
He directed apologies to specific individuals, including Triple H, Shawn Michaels, WWE, the wrestling community, and his family.
Check out the apology below.
While acknowledging the past he instead chose to focus on taking responsibility for his actions over the last three years
