WWE, under the banner of TKO Group Holdings, in collaboration with the Western Australian Government via Tourism Western Australia, is thrilled to announce its much-anticipated return to Australian soil with a globally broadcasted Premium Live Event (PLE). Set your calendars for WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth, scheduled at the state-of-the-art Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, on Saturday, February 24, 2024. This marks WWE’s triumphant return to Australia after a six-year hiatus and the sole PLE for the Asia-Pacific sphere in 2024.

Global fans desiring a special presale peek can swiftly sign up at www.wwe.com/au2024-presale.

Nestled in Perth’s vibrant center, Western Australia’s capital city — renowned for its international allure as a top travel spot — the versatile Optus Stadium, inaugurated in 2018, boasts a rich legacy of hosting both sports and star-studded performances. Its portfolio includes the Australian Football League Grand Final, State of Origin, and global tours by icons like Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Eminem, U2, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the much-anticipated, Australia-exclusive Coldplay ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour.

“Perth stands out as an ideal venue for WWE’s Premium Live Event in Australia, especially given our past successes in landmark global locations,” remarked WWE’s Senior Vice President, Chris Legentil. “Promising a week packed with WWE festivities, our mission is to engrave an indelible mark on Western Australia and our vast WWE family.”

Hon. Rita Saffioti MLA, Western Australia’s Deputy Premier and Tourism Minister, conveyed her enthusiasm: “Showcasing WWE in Perth will bolster Western Australia’s global presence, promising unmatched energy in the city, drawing both locals and tourists. Through Tourism WA, the WA Government proudly endorses this unique event, projecting immense economic benefits. I invite everyone to pair the WWE spectacle with an extended exploration of our enchanting state — a golden chance not to be missed.”

WWE Women’s World Champion and Australia’s pride, Rhea Ripley, shared her exhilaration, saying: “Wearing Australia’s colors each time I enter the WWE ring fills me with pride. To witness a Premium Live Event in Perth is surreal. Brace yourself, Australia, your own Mami is headed back home.”

The 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber held at Montreal’s Bell Centre shattered company milestones. The event experienced a 54% surge in viewership, surpassing the 2022 record. It also set new benchmarks in gate collections, merchandise, and sponsorship.

WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth promises to reach an impressive global audience, airing live across nearly 165 nations in 25 dialects, resonating in over a billion households. More details on general ticket sales and event specifics will follow soon.
