Mustafa Ali
Just a week before a slated title match, Mustafa Ali has announced his departure from WWE on Twitter.
Scheduled to face Dominik Mysterio at NXT’s ‘No Mercy’ on September 30, Ali made his exit public via social media this Thursday.
Earlier this year, Ali moved to the NXT platform, where he was engrossed in a prolonged rivalry over the North American title with wrestlers like Wes Lee, Tyler Bate, and Mysterio.
Although Ali was set to compete against Mysterio at ‘No Mercy’, Mysterio had another match lined up against NXT’s Dragon Lee for the upcoming Monday Night RAW.
In storyline, Ali’s character, portrayed by Adeel Alam, had expressed intentions to appear on RAW to challenge the duo. However, with Ali’s departure, the anticipated match will transpire in his absence.
Emma
Emma is one of the other WWE stars to announce that she is no longer with the company. She made it clear on social media that she was released.
She was re-hired by the WWE late last year.
