WWE’s approach of orchestrating premier live events in overlooked international markets seems poised to persist in 2024.
Recently, the organization disclosed plans to conduct its inaugural PLE in Germany, scheduling ‘Bash in Berlin’ for 31 August 2024. This notable event is set to unfold at Berlin’s prestigious Mercedes-Benz Arena.
The announcement of Bash In Berlin in partnership with Live Nation follows the huge success of multiple International WWE Premium Live Events over the past 12 months, including: Elimination Chamber from Montreal, Backlash from Puerto Rico, Night of Champions from Jeddah and Money In The Bank from London.
Prior to this, WWE unveiled plans for hosting Elimination Chamber 2024 in Perth, Australia, earmarking 24 February 2024 for this distinguished event. Additionally, WWE’s influential collaboration with the Saudi Arabian government remains steadfast, a partnership that remarkably garners around $50 million per showcase, fortifying governmental image-enhancing strategies. This collaboration is set to manifest next in the form of Crown Jewel 2023, slated for the upcoming weekend.
