Phillip Jack Brooks, known by his ring name CM Punk, was born on October 26, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois. Known for his straight-edge lifestyle, Punk rose to fame in the world of professional wrestling with his exceptional skills, mic work, and charismatic persona.

CM Punk started his wrestling career on the independent circuit, notably in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he became a star. His stint in ROH, especially his “Summer of Punk” storyline in 2005, remains an iconic period in his career.
