In the latest WWE NXT episode, significant revelations were made concerning main roster appearances for the upcoming October 10 NXT episode.
From a parking lot conversation, the erstwhile NXT champion Carmelo Hayes spoke of a revitalizing call he had with John Cena, where he received invaluable counsel. In a surprising turn, Hayes announced that Cena would make his inaugural appearance on NXT TV, supporting him. Cena will be siding with Hayes in a re-run of a WrestleMania weekend classic where Hayes will take on Bron Breakker.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Alongside Cena’s much-anticipated appearance on the next WWE NXT episode, Cody Rhodes will be visiting the Performance Center. Rhodes is expected to share a significant revelation during his appearance.
Asuka’s bout against Roxanne Perez was another highlight slated for the next NXT episode.
As the main episode ended, showcasing Dominik Mysterio regaining the NXT North American Championship from Trick Williams, another main roster shock was in store. Paul Heyman, expressing his disbelief at Cena supporting Melo while Breakker was left unsupported, declared that with Roman Reigns’ endorsement, he would be backing Breakker in the upcoming NXT episode.
In a nutshell, the next NXT episode promises star-studded appearances, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and Paul Heyman. Not to mention, Dominik Mysterio has just reclaimed the NXT North American Championship, and Becky Lynch retains her NXT Women’s Champion title.
Notably, on October 10, WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite are set to compete directly. AEW Dynamite’s special ‘Title Tuesday’ edition will coincide with the NXT event. One of the major highlights of this AEW Dynamite episode is Adam Copeland’s AEW debut match, his first since his departure from WWE as Edge, where he will face Luchsaurus.
