New AEW star Will Ospreay announced earlier this month that he’ll be joining AEW once his current New Japan Pro-Wrestling contract expires at the beginning of 2024. However, it wasn’t just All Elite Wrestling that decided to make a big offer to sign him.
According to sources close to Impact, it was stated that it was the biggest offer given by the company since Anthem Promotion took over.
This isn’t the only large offer they have made recently, before CM Punk joined WWE, his talents were wanted by the brand!
Ospreay isn’t new to the Impact brand, he appeared in October, where he faced ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey at Bound for Glory, came head to head with Josh Alexander on IMPACT TV, and then fought hard against Eddie Edwards at Turning Point as part of the company’s UK tour.
