When talking about his future in wrestling at a recent press conference ahead of New Japan Power Struggle, he was very confident and hinted that he will not be wrestling in Japan in 2024 once his contract expires. While many have rumored that Will could be a part of AEW next year due to his association with the promotion and having competed at multiple events, WWE has continued to show interest.
As reported, while Ospreay to AEW seemed to be “a foregone conclusion” at one point, WWE have also made it clear that they would like the New Japan star on their roster in the next few months, showing “heavy interest”, with sources stating that there has been contact between both sides when discussing his future. However, family and friends have not released any information or confirmed any rumors regarding this.
WWE have revealed that movements have been made towards the superstar but would not provide an official comment regarding any further information.
