A WWE Hall of Famer will reportedly make his return after a 22-year absence at Royal Rumble, with two former world champions also anticipated to return.
According to PWInsider, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman has been lined up to be a surprise entry at the 37th annual Royal Rumble.
The 51-year-old had reportedly been seen at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, sparking suggestions he could make a return.
Waltman, who was entered in to the Hall of Fame as a member of D-Generation X and the New World Order in 2019 and 2020, has not appeared in a WWE match since 2000.
With Royal Rumble taking place on January 27 in Florida, Waltman has sought to deny the suggestions he is ready to make a return.
Two-time WWW Hall of Famer Sean Waltman has been tipped to return after a 22-year absence.
‘I can still go at the drop of hat, at least for a few minutes,’ he posted on social media.
‘I can do all my kicks, except the one in the corner & I can do that again with a few weeks training.
‘I’m at least month away from taking my shirt off in public, so zero chance I’ll be in the Rumble.’
So, the question is.. Will he return?
