The first moment that stood out for us was Trick Williams challenging Carmelo Hayes to a match at the upcoming NXT Stand & Deliver pay-per-view event.
On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, Williams came to the ring for the main event segment to react to Hayes turning on him at NXT Vengeance Day by attacking him after Williams’ match with Ilja Dragunov.
Williams said he and Hayes will never be on the same level because Hayes isn’t close to his level. The challenge for Hayes to face him at Stand & Deliver was then issued.
The second clinical moment was a segment that involved Thea Hail & the female members of Chase U.
Thea Hail stated that she is back to her old ways.
On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, Hail and Fallon Henley faced off against Kiana James and Izzi Dame. Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx came down to the ring and watched the match, having largely abandoned Hail as they’ve been mocking her in recent weeks. The finish came when Jayne pulled Henley out of the way of a kick by Dame, but Hail was hit instead which let James get the win soon after.
Following the match, Hail cut a promo saying she used to idolize Jayne but that’s no longer the case because her former friend has become more rotten than ever. The segment ended with Thea saying, “the old Thea Hail is back, b*tch!” and ran around the ring.
A lot of matches are going to get locked in soon enough for Stand & Deliver.
