Fightful Select is reporting that TNA officials fancy signing ex-AEW man Mike Santana soon. The former Inner Circle member left Tony Khan’s promotion earlier this month, which shocked a few fans expecting to see All Elite throw its might behind a midcard singles push.
That was scrapped, and Santana’s AEW contract was torn up too. His near five-year run under Khan’s umbrella has ended, which means he’s on the market again for other companies. TNA is reportedly interested in doing business with Mike – that’d be a great move for both parties.
Of course, Santana previously worked for the promotion during the IMPACT Wrestling days. Together, he and LAX partner Ortiz enjoyed four reigns as IMPACT Tag-Team Champions. This time, Mike would surely be looking to win gold on his own rather than as part of a duo.
Santana has been busy on the independent circuit since leaving AEW, and the guy defo has some unfinished business in bigger pro wrestling promotions; so, it’ll be interesting to see if he can make a splash in TNA should he put pen to paper on a brand new deal soon.
