WWE fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE scheduled from Tampa, Florida, where the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches filled with uncertainties will be the major attractions of the show.
Multiple returns are expected to go down in the Women’s Royal Rumble match as it has been reported that Sonya Deville could show up. She was present at the WWE Performance Center recently to warm up for the speculated TV return.
Deville’s career hit its peak after she started teaming with Chelsea Green, last year as the duo also ended up winning the Women’s Tag Team Championships. But, soon after winning the titles, Deville tore her ACL and has since been absent from WWE TV.
Former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn, is also being assumed to be a surprise entrant in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match after she has ordered a custom gear for this weekend. As seen on social media, this gear was delivered by designer Ava Bros who also ended up sharing this news on Instagram Stories. After accidentally spoiling Kaitlyn’s WWE return, the post was later deleted.
Kaitlyn came to the pro-wrestling scene by winning WWE’s first all-female NXT competition in 2010. As a one-time Divas Champion, she left the company in 2014 but for a one-off occasion, she also competed in the Mae Young Classic in WWE in 2018.
Alexa Bliss To Return?
Former women’s champion Alexa Bliss is possibly looking forward to making a comeback to the WWE at Royal Rumble.
It would be a full-circle moment as her last match to date took place at Royal Rumble 2023 PLE. On that night, Bliss unsuccessfully challenged Bianca Belair for the WWE Raw Women’s Title.
To date, the likes of Bayley, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Nia Jax have officially been joined in the Women’s Rumble. From the Raw roster, Maxxine Dupri is training hard with Alpha Academy teammates for the match while Ivy Nile has also announced her candidacy.
