Born Kevin Scott Nash on July 9, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, Nash is a well-respected figure in professional wrestling. A former professional basketball player, Nash transitioned to wrestling in the late 1980s and quickly rose to fame, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.

Career History and Evolution

Nash started his wrestling career in WCW (World Championship Wrestling) under the ring name “Steel”. In 1993, he moved to the WWF (World Wrestling Federation, now WWE) where he was rebranded as “Diesel”, quickly gaining traction as a dominant, no-nonsense powerhouse. After an impactful stint in WWF that included a reign as WWF Champion, Nash returned to WCW in 1996 where he would become one of the cornerstones of the revolutionary New World Order (nWo) faction alongside Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall.
