Mercedes Mone has confirmed when she’ll make her in-ring debut for AEW.
During last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Renee Paquette interviewed Willow Nightingale ahead of her TBS Championship match against Julia Hart at AEW Dynasty. However, Nightingale was interrupted midway through the segment by Mercedes Mone.
Mercedes Mone made a huge announcement during the episode, as she said she will compete in her very first AEW match on May 26th at Double or Nothing. At the pay-per-view event, she will challenge either Nightingale or Hart for the TBS title.
This will also mark Mone’s first match in over a year. She last competed at NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2023 where she suffered a major ankle injury during the finals of the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship tournament against Nightingale.
