Lyra Valkyria Defends And Retains Title Twice In One Night

The NXT Women’s Championship stays with Lyra Valkyria after defending her title not once, but twice against both Shotzi and Lash Legend.

Shotzi was in firm control of the math but despite her impressive performance, she suffered a painful injury that forced her out of the match. It was later announced by the superstar herself that she would be facing 9 months on the sidelines due to a torn ACL.

Ava then made her way down to the ringside and announced that an Open Challenge would decide Valkyria’s new challenger, and it was none other than the brute force of Lash Legend.

The resilient Lyra Valkyria was able to adapt to her new opponent and take down Legend, finishing the match with a huge splash off the top rope to retain her title.
