Bobby Lashley has shed light on his association with The Street Profits, comprising Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.
The All Mighty approached the duo back in July, extending an offer to elevate them to a new pinnacle of success, complete with luxurious suits and exquisite wine.
During his appearance on The Bump, Lashley articulated the reason behind selecting Ford and Dawkins for this distinctive collaboration:
“In my search for individuals to collaborate with, these two stand out with unparalleled potential within the company,” Lashley asserted. “They’ve already secured tag team championships, but I envision them having a reign unprecedented in history. Achieving that necessitates doing whatever it takes, encompassing hard work, possessing the ‘it’ factor… and considering additional pivotal elements.”
Responding to inquiries about the transformation in their attire, Lashley remarked that the erstwhile tag team champions “had to embody the aura of stars to compete like stars.”
Ford and Dawkins have consistently been portrayed as babyfaces in both NXT and the main roster, garnering positive responses from the audience. Their alliance with Lashley marks the inaugural instance of the pair exhibiting a more aggressive demeanor.
