AEW Dynamite 4/10 – The 4th Year Anniversary Preview

by | Oct 4, 2023 | AEW News | 0 comments

Tonight’s live episode of Dynamite broadcasts from Stockton Arena, Stockton, California. This episode is the first step on the road to Full Gear, slated for November 18th.

The Dawn of the Rated R Era in AEW AEW marks its fourth Dynamite anniversary by venturing into uncharted territory. Fresh off his surprising AEW debut at WrestleDream, former WWE star, Edge, or as he’s now known, Adam Copeland, is set to spearhead the Rated R era in AEW with his maiden promo. The wrestling world waits with bated breath to hear Copeland’s aspirations and intentions in this new phase of his career.

Copeland’s AEW initiation saw him rescuing Sting from a potential Conchairto by the TNT Champion Christian. However, Luchasaurus and the turncoat Nick Wayne felt Copeland’s wrath. With Copeland scheduled to face Luchasaurus next week, an encounter with Christian, Luchasaurus, and Wayne during tonight’s promo seems inevitable. And with Sting and Darby Allin lurking in the shadows, the segment promises fireworks.

Given the storied history between Copeland and Christian, a TNT title showdown at Full Gear may well be in the offing. Yet, will another adversary emerge to challenge Copeland tonight?

Tonight’s Main Events Following their setback at WrestleDream, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega are set to unite against the formidable team of Sammy Guevara and Takeshita.

Nick Jackson gets an opportunity to dethrone the battered AEW International Champion, Rey Fenix. With Fenix nursing injuries from WrestleDream, Jackson might smell blood in the water.

Jay White and Juice Robinson will address the AEW universe tonight, aiming to uncover the mystery assailant behind MJF’s mask. Is this a ploy by Roderick Strong and The Kingdom? Or is Adam Cole pulling the strings from behind the curtain?

In a curious development, Ring of Honor’s Stokely Hathaway is expected to discuss the ROH title on Dynamite instead of the ROH platform. Could this signal a significant announcement for Eddie Kingston?
