Biography:

Scarlett Bordeaux, whose real name is Elizabeth Chihaia, was born on May 13, 1991, in Edgewater, Chicago. This talented diva has been involved in professional wrestling since 2012. Known by her stage name Scarlett, she is a force to be reckoned with.

Career History & Evolution:

Scarlett started her wrestling career at AAW Wrestling, an independent wrestling promotion in Illinois. After appearing in promotions like Ring of Honor (ROH), she made her way to IMPACT Wrestling. Here, Scarlett established herself as the “Smokeshow”, a gimmick that saw her standing up against the objectification of women in wrestling. She left IMPACT in 2019 and then joined WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, in 2020, alongside her real-life partner, Karrion Kross.
In NXT, Scarlett redefined her character into a darker, more mystic figure, often accompanying Kross to the ring with her captivating, doom-foretelling entrance. This was a significant evolution from her initial ‘Smokeshow’ persona.

Titles Won & Biggest Matches:

Although Scarlett has been more of a valet in WWE, during her stint with IMPACT Wrestling, she won the promotion’s Knockouts Championship. Her most prominent match in WWE was perhaps during NXT TakeOver: In Your House in 2020, where she accompanied Karrion Kross in his successful bid to win the NXT Championship from Adam Cole.

Biggest Rivalries & Tag Team Partners:

As a valet, Scarlett’s rivalries were more through association. In NXT, her biggest rivalries were with the likes of Keith Lee and Finn Balor, both in conjunction with Karrion Kross’s storylines.

Family Life:

Scarlett prefers to keep her private life away from the limelight. However, it’s known that she is in a relationship with fellow professional wrestler Karrion Kross, which has also translated into their on-screen partnership in WWE.

Finishing Move:

Scarlett’s finishing move during her time as an active wrestler was the “Hell’s Bells” – a Sitout Powerbomb.

Entrance Music & Attire:

Her WWE entrance music, “Dead Silent”, captures the dark, mystic character she portrays. It complements her elaborate ring walk, as she leads Kross down the ramp.
Scarlett’s attire consists mainly of elegant, yet gothic-inspired clothing. Her long, flowing gowns with detailed embroidery, coupled with her bright red hair, provide a stark contrast to the dark and ominous persona she embodies.
Scarlett’s career thus far has shown her to be a multi-dimensional character. From her beginnings as a wrestler to her current valet role in WWE, she has become a captivating figure, signaling a new era of female performers in the wrestling industry.
