Biography

Jordan Omogbehin, professionally known as Omos, was born on October 21, 1994, in Lagos, Nigeria. Before becoming a professional wrestler, Omogbehin played college basketball in the United States. His athletic background and towering stature (7ft 3in) caught the attention of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and he was signed to a contract in 2018.

Career History and Evolution

Omos began his career with the WWE at the Performance Center, where he learned the ropes of professional wrestling. He made his first on-screen appearance in 2019 as the towering doorman for Shane McMahon’s “VIP Lounge” on Monday Night RAW.
In 2020, he was re-introduced as the towering ninja in Akira Tozawa’s gang and later became the bouncer for the RAW Underground segments. His big break came in 2020 when he was paired with AJ Styles as his bodyguard. His silent yet menacing presence added an extra dimension to Styles’s character, and he officially started wrestling in 2021.

Championships and Statistics

Despite his short career, Omos has achieved significant success. In his debut match at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, he and AJ Styles won the RAW Tag Team Championship from The New Day, marking his first title win in the WWE.

Major Matches and Rivalries

Omos’s in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37 was certainly a standout, but his presence has been instrumental in many of AJ Styles’ matches. His rivalries are usually connected to AJ’s feuds, including against The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Randy Orton and Riddle.

Tag Team Partners and Allies

AJ Styles is Omos’s main ally and tag team partner. Their complementary styles – AJ’s technical prowess and Omos’s sheer power and size – have made them a formidable team.

Family Life

Details about Omos’s family life are relatively private, reflecting the separation many wrestlers maintain between their professional and personal lives.

Finishing Move

Omos’s finishing move is a two-handed chokeslam, demonstrating his strength and towering presence.

In-Ring Attire and Entrance Music

Omos typically wears black pants and boots when wrestling, often foregoing a shirt due to his role as a giant force in the ring. His entrance music, “Tower,” evokes his intimidating presence.
Omos’s career in the WWE, while still in the early stages, is notable for how effectively his size and athleticism have been used. His pairing with AJ Styles has provided him with the opportunity to develop his in-ring abilities while contributing to some of the most entertaining segments on WWE programming.
