Carrillo began his wrestling career in 2012 under the ring name Último Ninja, working mostly in Mexican independent promotions, including his family’s promotion, the World Wrestling Association.
In 2018, he signed a developmental contract with WWE and joined the NXT roster. He then moved to 205 Live, where he showcased his high-flying lucha libre style and quickly gained popularity.
