Born on November 22, 1987, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Sciullo, better known by his ring name, Elias, is an American professional wrestler, singer, and musician. Elias is well known for his unique character that blends wrestling and music in the WWE.

Career History and Evolution

Elias began his career in independent promotions around the Pittsburgh area. He signed with WWE in 2014, initially appearing in their developmental territory, NXT. His initial character was Elias Samson, ‘The Drifter’, who would wander around strumming a guitar.
After spending three years in NXT, Elias was called up to WWE’s main roster in 2017. His character evolved as a musician who frequently plays his guitar in the ring, often composing disparaging songs about the local city or his opponents to generate heat. He’s used his music not just for entertainment, but also to instigate feuds and rivalries.
