Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes, known to fans worldwide as Eddie Guerrero, was born on October 9, 1967, in El Paso, Texas. He came from the famed Guerrero wrestling family, a lineage rich with skilled performers. Eddie’s passion and talent for wrestling, combined with his charismatic persona, made him one of the most loved wrestlers of his era.

Career History and Evolution

Eddie started his career wrestling in Mexico and Japan before making his name in America with promotions like Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). However, it was in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) where Eddie really became a global star.
Eddie’s wrestling style evolved over the years, initially featuring a high-flying luchador style before incorporating a technical style with a focus on mat wrestling. He was also known for his “Lie, Cheat, and Steal” gimmick, which endeared him to fans despite his rule-breaking tactics.
