The Announcement of the Dusty Rhodes Classic Cody Rhodes kicked off WWE NXT with a duel against Christian’s prerecorded promo from a control room where none of the screens showcased WWE NXT. The grand revelation was the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, following the women’s tournament.

Adding a twist, Ilja Dragunov and Dominik Mysterio, accompanied by Rhea Ripley, joined Cody’s announcement. Rhodes hinted at a forthcoming NXT Championship match, and to everyone’s surprise, declared LA Knight as the special guest referee.

Asuka Triumphs Over Roxanne Perez Asuka, undefeated in NXT, clashed with Roxanne. The unexpected twist came with Shotzi’s arrival, who revealed her role in the upcoming Halloween Havoc.
