Nic Nemeth, known to many wrestling fans as Dolph Ziggler, was released from WWE in September, which came as shock to many fans. He is now a major star in TNA Wrestling but it appears he confirmed he is dealing with an injury ahead of Slammiversary this week.
On TNA iMPACT, Nemeth revealed he is dealing with a partially torn labrum. The current TNA star stated that the injury took place during his match with Frankie Kazarian last week.
Despite this setback, the ‘Wanted Man’ is set to participate in the six-man elimination match against Moose, Joe Hendry, Steve Maclin, Josh Alexander, and Kazarian for the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary.
With five challengers in the mix, the odds are certainly stacked against Moose, who has held the TNA World Championship since the Hard to Kill relaunch. However, fans are increasingly supporting Nic Nemeth, especially now that he has confirmed he will compete despite his torn labrum injury. It will be interesting to see how Nemeth performs in the match.
