WWE Hall of Fame icon Hulk Hogan recently announced, in a podcast chat with Chris Van Vliet titled “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” his decision to extend his contract with WWE.
“I’m in constant collaboration with WWE. I’ve just sealed a fresh contract with them,” Hogan shared. “Being out there is always exhilarating, and perhaps I’ll have a fellow wrestler accompany me to the ring.”
Further, Hogan elucidated his involvement in the merchandise segment, stating he reviews and greenlights merchandise regularly, boasting about “900 merchandise licenses.”
The wrestling legend’s most recent appearance in a WWE ring was back in 2006 during SummerSlam, marking a victory over Randy Orton. The preceding year, 2005, witnessed Hogan besting Shawn Michaels, also at SummerSlam. Subsequently, Hogan transitioned to Impact Wrestling, previously labeled Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. His final bout here was in January 2012, where he joined forces with James Storm and Sting to overcome the trio of WWE Hall of Famers Bully Ray, Kurt Angle, and the now WWE sensation Robert Roode.
Although Hogan’s in-ring engagements have ceased, he remains a prominent figure, making his mark through appearances at pop culture conventions, guest TV stints, and key roles in WWE events, notably co-hosting WrestleMania 37 and featuring in other special WWE programs.
